go to a place called halfords and ask to speak to a guy called laquer LMAO

seriosuly though, is there such a thing that can be applied after a full paint job? and how long does it last?

I am having a full respray soon on my tvr and would be interested in a protection film other than polish and wax etc.

This subject has been covered a few times on the Porsche forum IIRC. Try a search through there.

Most of the Ferrari owners on Club Scuderia swear by Paintshield. Google them.

I had armourfend on my old Exige and it was very good.

And there is the problem , I dont want to trailer the car several hundred miles to get it done by Paintsheild or amourfend. Although the trailer is enclosed so damaged would not occur.

Are there not any local south Wales or Bristol companies ?

Hi Dave

When Rob was building my car I rang ventureshield and bought a small roll of film, some applying fluid and a plastic thing for pushing out the bubbles direct from them. Rob applied some of it and I finished it off. Dead easy to use-even for a numpty like me!

Next time I wouldn't buy the applying fluid as very diluted baby shampoo works just as well.

Are you covering the whole car or just the bits at risk?

What colour are you going for?

Cheers

Andy
