OT: Flat Hunting Cardiff

Just wondered if anyone had any nuggets of information re: flat hunting in Cardff Central/Bay.

I'm looking for a 1-bed furnished place with parking.

You'll be spoilt for choice in the Bay but there's limited nightlife.
Town will be better for nightlife but slightly more difficult to find a flat with secure/allocated parking.

Cheers - yeah, I know the areas well enough. In fairness, I have so little time to play (work full-time and studying for my Masters) so nightlife not a concern.

Do you think £500pm is too little to spend? I have next year's racing budget to consider!

The Echo on wednesday has a good rental property section. You sometimes get independent landlords advertising in the back of the Western Mail - lower fees with these guys.

tim i rent my place in the bay fully furnished for £535 but you may get something cheaper in the current market
