Not sure what to make of this but next weekend might need some re tuning? It is not the switch over btw.

Looks like channel 30-34-40-50-43-46 at the moment with another four added 41-44-47-51

Not sure sure about how accurate this is?

ETA, scroll down the link about half way.

Looks very complicated, wish I fully understood it all. I like to pick up ITV & BBC West signals because Wales sometimes has regional stuff I have no interest in. My aerial is directed between 2 transmitters I think, but only one Freeview tuner picks up West signals, and yet both are using the same aerial.

Oh I just checked the channel numbers. Looks like some new ones and some channels getting a dedicated one? I Think. Find out on the weekend when channels go shonky.

ETA, my ariel used to get all west analogue signals as well before all this mucking around with digital. Since the power has been reduced at wenvoe my TV freeview has stopped working. The box I bought to see me through picks up all the west channels as well on freeview. The DVD recorder with its own tuner will only pick up the Wenvoe channels. So I think the tuners capability also needs taking into account.

Does this increase my chances of picking up Dave and UK History? (knowing my luck it will just mean an extra QVC channel for my Mrs to buy more crap off)

The same thing with me, my older Pioneer Freeview picks up the West channels, my brand new Panasonic DVD recorder will not pick up West channels, which is annoying, as they are using the same aerial.

Not sure. They will be upping the power when they switch over (or sooner??). If you have not been past there then there is a temporary mast that is transmitting on lower power. Usually if you lose one you lose the others on that mux (a few programs all transmitted on the same channel). Maybe someone here knows more?

As it is at the moment I can pick up both of these channels on the new DVD recorder and the older Freeview tuner. When they turn analogue off, the digital signal is supposed to be boosted.

I seem to have lost/have a very poor digital signal on BBC on freeview this morning. Hope it's temporary.
