Hello all.

Can anyone recommend a good Jap specialist in S. Wales (around Cardiff/Newport or further). A work colleague has an early Integra type R that needs some work (tune - loss of engine performance).

Any recommendations are appreciated thumbup

No connection at all but there is a company in Cardif called Hyeline that I believe have a pretty good rep. By the Ferrari/Porsche garage.

You could give Vale Autotech a shout in Hirwaun?
(They've just done AMAZING things with a clients' twin turbo Supra)
PM me for details if interested.

That’s only because they would try and upgrade Shi**y stick for no reason and charge big. i would never take my Jap car there ! i did once after having a Exhaust made from Pro speed. and he tried to sell me a Mongoose system, because i was concerned about how much fuel i was using, it turned out that the Pro speed system was so nice to listen too that my right foot was heavy.

Thanks for the responses thumbup

Did a bit of digging on here yesterday and it seams power station are quite highly thought of. Mentioned it to the fella in work with the 'Teg and it turns out he has family near by. He's going to drop in next time he's visiting to see what they can do.

Sorry, seen this a bit too late...

There is a guy in Newport I met at a Jap meet once, I think his name was Lionel and he owns: http://www.ninjatunefactory.com/ He seems like an honest guy, but I've never used him, although I've heard good things from those who have smile

For specialist Honda stuff, I take my car to: http://www.performance-autoworks.co.uk/index.php They're a bit far away, but Richy knows his stuff.

P.S. Ask your colleague to sign up to www.itr-dc2.com as he might find the answer to his problem.

No problem.

If he needs any genuine Honda parts I know a couple of traders that sell them cheap, so just let me know wink
