Ok. My sister in law had her white Fiat 500 cleaned by the guy whose been valeting our cars/vans for years. It appears the muppet used some sort of scouring sponge to remove some flies on the bonnet and has made a faint mark on it.

Would a detailer be able to get rid of this and can anybody recommend someone in the Mid/south Glamorgan area please?

Thanks

Buy some G3 finishing compound. If using the paste make sure its really wet. This takes a small layer of laquer off and should get rid of the scoring. When this is done wax as normal.

from personal experience I would buy the gear and do it yourself, i've had 3 cars detailed in the last year and not one was worth the money or upto the required standard of a professionel detailer IMHO

I left him an email message yesterday but no reply so far. Is he still in business?

Lovely job... except he missed that big line of wax down the middle of the car.
