BBC 1 filming traffic cops in cardiff

My mate got pulled by the Police in a traffic car in cardiff the other day with a camerman and they said they were filming for traffic cops. anyone else know anything about it?

I've seen two camera men out with the police in the last two months.

I think its great, cant wait to see my home town on the telley! About time, anyone else got any knowledge or comments about the filming in Cardiff etc follow up here..

Might have to do a few laps of Cardiff with a tail light out and get my 15 minutes of fame and do the whole "get that facking camera out my face" routine.

Yes this is true.
I was at a party last week and quite a big fight kicked off (typical 18th)

Whilst outside trying to calm things a 5 series pulled up and outjumps a film crew with 2 plods.

Didnt start recording though, just poked around for a few minutes and then drove off.

Tonight Dai Trafpol and Dewi Dog Handler are in patrol on Tony Revile (Tonyrefail) when they spot a group of youths throwing glass and bricks at eachother.

Cut to scene.......

Dai: Alrite butt, why you lobbing bricks at eachother en?

Yeah they are filming aroung Pontypridd area as well. According to my mate its going to be on late September-ish

seen them filiming a scene (so-to-speak) on the a470 directly on the coryton interchange at about 17:45 this evening. a 5 series BMW estate and A V70 were the cars and they pulled a pick-up style transit with what looked like a motorbike on the back that didnt look the best secured. there were about 4 cops there and 2 cameramen i think. Definately (mind the spelling) saw one, he had the camera right in there. Probably caused a tailback on which was already a busy A470

JUST TO CLARIFY THAT THE QUAD BIKE WAS STOLEN LAST YEAR AND THE DRIVER GOT NICKED FOR THE THEFT OF IT. THEY ARE FILMING FOR TRAFFIC COPS FOR THE NEXT 3 WEEKS FOR IT TO GO OUT APRIL 2009 ( 5 ONE HOUR EPISODES ON BBC1)
WE'VE HAD SOME GOOD STUFF BUT QUITE A FEW WELSH IDIOTS AS YOU CAN IMAGINE!!!!
