New Driveway - Cardiff - Recommendations?
Discussion
Hi,
Wondering if anyone can help?
I'm based in Cardiff and relatively new to the area and am looking to get my driveway re done. Looking at block pave for preference but would consider imprinted concrete depending on price (its around 35m2)
Has anyone used any local companies they could recommend?
Thanks
Paul

I used these guys!!!!
Total waste of time!! Wouldn't really want to bad mouth anyone on the internet but the standard of work of the company I used wasn't good and I certainly wouldn't want to recommend them!!
The drive looks okay now (cheers Matty) but it did take a lot of time and effort to get it looking as it does!
One of my customers (based in West Wales) does this sort of thing and he does a lot of work for organisations such as Cadw and various other heritage groups! If you wish, PM me and I'll pass his telephone number on!!

We've just used a company called Edge to Edge paving on the second phase of the Wales Millenium Centre and they've done a good job. It was only a small area as well (similar to your area).
Give me a shout if you want to see the area in question. We did use someone else for a different section of works and although OK I think Edge to Edge were better.

I ended up using this company

did a great job for a good price and some of my neighbours followed suit after seeing our new drive. He also laid me a new lawn at the same time.

Does anyone have any recent experience of companies in Cardiff. We need our driveway re-done and extended to fit the T5 Camper. Seen lots of H.A.N.S.O.N and E.V.E.R.E.S.T company signs on driveways, but there seems to be lots of chatter on internet about certain companies.
"A company" that puts up world's highest mountain signs but is not "the window company" should be avoided and they reportedly uses strongarm tactics on other operators in the area. Did a repair on my mother's drive "cheap" (not) and it was utter crap.Anyone have any experience of those nice resin drives you see demonstrated at Pughs Nurseries. They look nice.

I was thinking the same after the quotes for normal block paved drives came in a bit high. There is a company called T H O R T E C H that seem to be advertising a lot?Gassing Station | South Wales | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
