Where abouts in Wales are you looking to stay? If Mid Wales then try www.threewells.co.uk A friendly B+B just outside Llandrindod Wells.
Thanks guys just looked on Last minute but rung a couple directly and there a little cheaper. Although there pretty much booked up already, still on the waiting list for Sun Inn (think thats the M4) at reasonable rates.. next one is £20 higher and thats the Village. Fingers crossed otherwise it'll be a tent in the middle of winter
Try this hotel in Merthyr Tydfil it's a very central town for the Rally.

Thank you guys
We have reserved booking still at Sun Inn and where second on the list, they've already had one cancellation so should get in there.
Also have a reserved booking at http://www.tregennahotel.co.uk/ which was recommended by one of you guys so hopefully we should get somewhere.
Sun Inn's £58 for two nights, which is a bargain really.

I base myself out of Aberdare when I am watching the rally. Rhondda is local, Margam is local, Rheolla is local and Cardiff is 20 miles away, you can go to the super special by train so you can drink as much as you want. Also down the A465 is Swansea (40 mins away). There are a few cheapish hotels too. There is a travel inn, a few b and b's and also there is a basic but clean hotel in Dare Valley Country Park.
I usually kip in the car though!
