Probably been asked by me before, but after trawling 4 pages of old posts, i've given up and decided to just ask again.

Need 4 new tyres for the Chim, best place to go, Barry or Cardiff

I order mine on line from camskills. Very good prices, then just get fitted locally.

Alternately, try Atlas Tyres in Cathays or City Tyres in Clare Gardens

City Tyres. Cheapest by a mile. Brian's a nice bloke too. Just watch the jacking points like you would with any tyre fitters with a plastic car.

i used atlas yesterday, not the cheapest around but nice friendly guys always helpful. Peter from Roath TVR gets all his rubber from them.

Just off the top of holton rd, the actual garage bit is just off the side street, can't remember which one but if you're coming from pub (think it's the bassett?) it's the 2nd left which is sort of on an angle, they're good lads and as cheap as I have found

They are a good bunch at Barry Tyres. They were the only ones in the area that would put a set of my own 255's on my 18" alloys at short notice

Hi everyone i'm new to this forum, on the topic for tyres, if you dont mind really good quality budget tyres try SARDIS ROAD TYRES in PONTY as i get my 205/50 r15 V for my golf gti for only £35 all fitted including VAT. Hope this helps.

Blimey that's cheap. I just had a budget tyre fitted on wifey's car and the valve/balance/disposal was £11.50 + VAT alone.

I get 15 inch Kumho ecsta's fitted for a similar price at Barry Tyre centre. Around £70 for a pair last time I went if I remember rightly and there good tyres too!
