I am away the whole week lads so I won't be able to. How about the next wednesday?

Not to name places, but I think a few of us had an upset stomach after the A. Arms a few months back. TGI Fridays sounds better as there is plenty of choice and lots of parking.

Cheers,

Ary

I'm not volunteering to come (broke) but would heartily recommend the Nant Ddu in the dip just before the Beacons. Great run up, plenty of parking right round the back and fabulous meals at a reasonable price. Don't normally need to book and even when busy, the wait is short.

Im fine with the Nant Ddu....Had lunch there a long time back and has a good reputation.

Other recommendation would be the Ty Nant (No, I am not just picking Welsh names!) in Morganstown nr M4 Junction 32. Not in the same league food wise (but decent pub food), no good drives really but central for most people...

As a choice, in a small group, I'd probably plump for the Nant Ddu (Yes I do realise that, quite paradoxically, thats not my recommendationrotate)

Good company as always.

Have to agree with Ben on the food, you are never likely to get fat eating Nant Ddu portions! Plus it was the only time I have ever had a ploughmans with no salad on it? Dessert was lick
