Another written off TVR - Part 2

Hi Guys

You will have probably have seen the thread - Another written off TVR in the South Wales Forum.

I am trying to gauge the interest in sombody, or a group, buying the car off me for parts. I am not out to make money here, I am anxious to pass the car onto enthusiasts who can salvage what they can bearing in mind the scarcity of parts.

At the moment I do not know what is going to happen with the car, the engineer is yet to call and carry out an inspection.

Just in case, I contacted Bell Hill Garage in Bath who are not interested. I also contacted Douglas Valley who have offered £2,600.00 should it be written off.

I do not really know what condition the accident has left the car in (judge from the photographs) however the engine had only just been rebuilt and a new clutch installed by Pete Millward at Roath Garage (speak to him if you want to, I'm sure he won't mind 0292046 5374). All I want to ensure is that the car is not "crushed" without due regard to the value of the parts.

If you haven't already, you could advertise this in the classifieds, probably also worth sticking on the Tuscan forum.

There's also fleabay, you never know how much you might get then!
