some may know, some wont, some are probably planning their own rebellious copycat tour in 2 months time..... but a few of us have just come back from Nurburgring Nordschliefe and suffice to say it was a bloody good time, and this will be our thread to chat about it.

Thankyou, that is all for now byebye

Crikey, don't I look short smile

Had a great time, both on track and off biggrin Thanks for organising it Ben.
All cars and all people came back in one piece despite a very wet track, would definitely recommend a trip out there.

Massive thanks to Ben for organising/being tour guide cool

And thanks to all the other attendees, who helped made the trip most enjoyable. However I may have damaged my rib cage from excessive laughing - damn the lot of you!

I must vent my perplexed perspective of my admittedly limited exposure to German humour - but please correct me if I'm wrong - I find it EXTREMELY difficult to accept that an old fat German bird dressed in a stereotypical German dress with a saucepan lid in her hand and something long and hard penetrating her skirt and her proceeding to make musical 'drumming' sounds by striking said objects with great force, any type of comedy what-so-f-ing-ever!!! wobble

Trust me I'm not making that up - my imagination would have been exhausted with the just the saucepan lid. It was shock and awe.

But funny as F**K!!! Even the bloody waitress' were hiding near our table and laughing with us biglaugh

It was worth driving there just for that. Good call Ben thumbupbow

By the way, before anyone jumps to conclusions, that was a 60th birthday party which we happened to gatecrash at a very respectable-looking Italian restaurant.

Oh yeah and the 'Ring was also fun.

Here you go Tone:

You can thank me later for shouting you over - you vain old man wink

EDIT: Tone, I'll leave you to continue thoughts on our eventful night at that twisted birthday party. Lost in translation was an understatement!

Hi all
Thanks to all of you For an ace trip . need a break to relax from the break ….

Hummm I think we need to give some awards out…

For spending the most amount of time on the wrong side of the road while, being shouted at …….” OTHER SIDE”

Goes to Andrew.

Almost wiping out a couple walking a dog -

Goes to Andrew.

Constant farting -

Goes to Andrew.

Loosing it and then Parking up on the Nurburgring to video the rest of the group going past.

Goes to Andrew

Worst language after coming off the Ring -

Goes to Glyn “ I must say I really FU**ING enjoyed that “ TUT TUT.

Amazing use of the German language for ordering Choco ice cream with wiped cream, and ending up with cherry ice cream-

Goes to Tony “ how was we to know that the whipped cream noise and action kshhhhhh sounds just like the German for Cherries = Kirshe “

Playing a wash board , and holding a broom between your legs whilst hitting the end of it with a frying pan -

Goes to the Crazie old German lady in the restaurant. WTF was that all about.

There is so many more . but I will leave that to the rest off you .
Fantastic trip with some fantastic people.

The track is nothing like the game, the game cannot prepare you for the ring. Every car enthusiast I would recommend this too. What an amazing place.
What done it for me was the race going on, as we arrived at the hotel WOW.

Will get some Pics up soon.

Thank you very much everyone

There really was too much comedy!!!

Pictures of our trip will speak a thousand words, so I'll keep biting my lip and save my breath. Cheers Matt smile

EDIT: You forgot to award me with the fastest lap of the ring.

PLUS: My consideration merits award for not overtaking you and causing you pain and suffering.

Awful memory. You should try coffee, that tea's not doing you favours pal biglaugh

Does it appear obvious that I'm suffering adrenaline withdrawal symptoms here? I'm turning into a bloody internet junkie. I think the amount of posts I've made in the last twelve hours has bumped my average daily post count by at least 0.00146 maybe even more! I need to do some extra calculations. biggrin

I even had to call in sick because I just can't handle the bloody aftershocks. And I'm not lying!

Stay off the drugs (and the 'Ring) kids. You might not survive the highs!

Ben, I'm shocked, but admittedly impressed!

Nice photos considering that's a crap phone you have. You have surpassed my expectation yet again. I'll give you another one of these: thumbup
