Hello All,

Does anyone know a tyre fitter local to cardiff / newport that are reliable for getting the balancing with low profile (255/30/19inch) tyres correct??confused

Just had new tyres fitted and the rears do not appear to be very well balanced. Got the place where I bought them from to re-balance but the vibration at 'reasonable' speed is still there. The vibration wasn't there with my previous set of tyres so pretty sure its the out-of-balance rears causing the problem.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Atlas tyres in cathays appear to supply aftermarket alloys, so they should be well versed in balancing big rims, and ive not had any problems with stuff theyve done for me, admittedly only 15's though

Cheers for the suggestion but I've already been to National Tyres on Cowbridge Road and they won't touch my size/profile of tyre.

Would try Atlas but my car sits too low to the ground to get it in their garage!!

Thanks anyway,

Antony

City Tyres, Clare Gardens, Cardiff supplied and balanced my 275/35s on 20x9 and 20x10.5 rims. No problems with them.

Do they fine balance wheels at City Tyres?
I'm having terrible trouble getting my Elise wheels balanced and am starting to get a bit fed up with paying out for balancing that's not actually balancing my wheels! I've got 2 sets now that I badly need to get done properly.
