Detailing/Valeting

Can anyone explain to me the difference between having your car valeted and detailed?
Secondly can anyone recommend someone in the Newport/Cardiff area?
Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated.

Difficult to explain.

The way i see it, Detailing takes Car Cleaning onto a new level. As the name suggests, its done in more detail.

The products used - Detailing often means using a machine polisher, several different polish's, wax's and other methods of cleaning, the time taken - its not a half hour job, its all to get the right finish, get rid of any swirls, marks etc, time to clean other areas, like wheel arches, engine bays that wouldn't normally get done in a valet. Its a close inspection and then a perfectionist type clean and detail of the whole car.

Recommendations - Huw (Huw Pugh on here) and Rich (W3lsh on here) are top notch and both around the Cardiff/Newport areas. Also Peter Richards on the Wales Section of Detailing World who's based in Swansea but Mobile.
