maybe it just demonstrates how bad 17 year old headlamps are, but when there was a gap in the traffic, i was seriously struggling to see a comfortable distance ahead and relying on tomtom to indicate which way the road leads.

Maybe i need brighter bulbs, but i'd really like overhead streetlights for next time please

Mate i got the same problem. Really does need lights, sometimes i have to flip full beams on! (Of course this goes off as soon as i can see car headlights comming on the other side)

Am I the only one who likes it? I must be strange, but there's something strangely enjoyable about driving on a high speed road without streetlighting. And your headlights must be pretty awful because I've driven it at 11pm, in torrential rain, without a soul in sight and I had no problems. (Not a dig you understand, perhaps I just have uncommonly good eyesight, but I'm pretty sure that I'm on a par with Mr Magoo in that area)
