hey guys. i'm putting together a group buy for the 205 owners club but numbers arent as high as i would like.

The item in question is this http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/... lightweight low entry racing/motorsport/trackday trolleyjack normally retails for around £90 inc vat.

If we can get 10 - 18 units then they will be £67.50 inc vat, plus postage which can be £16 for one or two together next day delivery, or £40 for a pallet load (10+) which i dont mind distributing locally if they will deliver to my house (otherwise might need a business address)

Any questions anybody?

Dave,

I got one for my B-day, They are a good Jack. It only just gets under my T350, I still drive onto some timber (1"thick) before I jack the car up. I don’t jack from the out riggers, I go from the main chassis rails!!!

How the Tam running??

If it does't, raise the car with TVR's finest scissor jack as if you were changing the wheel. This will give you enough height to slide the trolley jack under. This is how i get my trolley jack under the Chimaera anyhow (usual disclaimers apply biggrin).

Hmm, tempted. Let me know how close you get to the numbers you need but I'm not desperate and my birthday is in June...

That's a good idea, it's running well thanks, excluding I can't get hold of gsd3's for the front frown

im pretty sure this is the lowest deomestic jack you can buy, my resarch hasnt shown a slimmer one anyway.

Lu51fer, we can still go ahead with group buy if its less than 10, but the cost will probably be very similar to what you would pay in machine mart. for referance; 1-5 units at £76.00 inc vat, 6-10 units £71.50, 10-18 units £67.50 and then 18 and above we could do at £65.45

list so far:-

im calling this off now, its come to light that this is not a good product which will not last the tests of time.

I'll search for a better alternative for now
