Chaps,

I'm on the search for a detailer/valeter based in the Cardiff area, but haven't the slightest idea of how to find someone who is reputable.

I was silly enough to mention, with both my mother and grandmother present, that I was looking to get my car done, and my dear grandmother went and booked a "great car valeter" she knows, for next Tuesday. Apparently he is good because he once cleaner dog sick up from the back seat of her car very nicely!

Now I don't want to just reject my grandmothers kind gesture, but I am very wary about letting people loose on my car. Are there some questions I might be able to ask this fella regarding his products or techniques?

Can anyone recommend anyone else that have personal experience with?
How much am I looking at paying?

I'm renovating a house on weekends at the moment so haven't got the time to do this properly my self frown

Cheers in advance.

Search for Hugh Pugh.

He doesn't come on here very often, do you know who it is, maybe one of us has heard of them?

Would second Huw's work. As I am sure a lot of others on this forum would.

Top bloke and a real enthusiast, checkout http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=333487  for some examples of his work.

Pricing wise this would vary based on condition and car.

Another recommendation for Huw biggrin

I can also recommend Rich (W3LSH), who's based in Newport. See http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... for some of his work.

And i can also recommend Peter Richards (Eclipse Auto Valet) who's based in Swansea, but is mobile and will travel to do the work. www.eclipse-auto-valet.co.uk

You can find all these guys and more on www.detailingworld.co.uk
