Hi Guys

I've had my 350z up for sale on Pistonheads and eBay now for almost a month and so far i've had ZERO viewings. I believe the car is reasonably priced so that shouldnt be the issue.

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/313043.htm

So any ideas where else I can advertise it for FREE or very cheaply?

Any help or advice appreciated.

Cheers.

No mention of mileage in Ad (that i can see)
No contact number, just an email address (can lead people to believe its a scam)
I suspect the leather colour might put some people off.

Otherwise i can't see anything wrong with the Ad, the price depends on what the mileage is.

Time of year hasn't been in you're favour but in a week or so, everything should be back to normal!! Not the cheapest media but Autotrader should really be your first port of call, followed by fleabay and PH!! Providing your car is a good colour/spec and priced sensibly, your phone should start jangling!!

Good luck smile

Cheers for the replies... Didn't want to put my number on there originally because of canvassers.. But i'll amend it now. Also add the milage.

Yeah, it's also advertised on the two main 350Z forum/sites

Keep it coming!! Thanks!!

To tell the truth, selling a car private is really hard work. Everyone is expecting a scam or dodgy deal and when spending so much money they like to have a dealer to go back to for complaints/issues, not that you are any safer buying from a stealer, it just sounds safer sadly.

Good luck with the sale mate, it looks great to me anyway.

What are you thinking of getting next?

I'm in the same boat, selling a car privately is a nightmare really, not sure why I'm bothering, oh yes...trying to save a few quid biggrin Best advice is to check out other similar cars and price accordingly, i would price below those prices just to get shot, it only devaluates whilst your waiting for someone to come along anyway so give yourself the advantage

Long month wink

wait another month, (should bring you up to 6 days advert time), more people will have had chance to look if there looking for a 350z.

It's been on there since the start of December, for some reason when i amended the advert a couple of days ago it bumped it back onto the start of the list confused

lol... The orange colour was too common, I saw two other ginger ones in 10 months of owning it..biggrin Nah, I just love the White ones cos they are super nice and up until 2007 were unavailable from Nissan UK. Had to get this one as it was a bargin and i couldn't resist.

This is a mid 2005 model, the late 2005's have the newer body shapes with the 300 BHP engines. Rumopur has it that JDM models apparently have more 10-15 more BHP than the UK versions, this one does feel faster though but i'm sure its all in my head...

It's a paradox of modern life that many people want to modify their car but are reluctant to buy a modified car.

Just have to wait for the right person...they are out there...I put my Maserati 3200 on Piston Heads and sold it in two days for the asking price...I though it would took two months rather than 2 days and I expected to drop it by up up to £1500, so a result...hang on in there and the right person will come along.
