Is there anywhere in South Wales that will remap my fq300?

Promax near Llanelli did my Evo VII a few years ago, they do little else other than prep rally Evos.

Sort of:
http://www.promax-motorsport.com/
01554 784070

Ask for Dilwyn or Phil.

I've no axe to grind but they looked after my Evo for the 3 years I had it.

Big thumbs up for Promax from me too....looked after my Impreza until I sold it last week.....did all my suspension geometry etc. and it was excellent.

Website is due to be updated shortly I believe......reminds me - I must call in to say hello! wink

Can't remember but a very reasonable hourly rate, certainly much less than main dealer and I always trusted them way more than main dealers.

Dont skimp on it by thinking of distance...the quickest way to kill an engine is via a bad map. Its the single most important thing you will do to your car.

Im booked into Promax wednesday for ayc fault...But never heard of them mapping..that alone would put me off.

Also heard bad things about rc develpments from a friend. Id personally recomend Sam the desntist, but thats a trip to scotland so a bit far. I had mine done at The Racing Line in Halifax. They also built my 2.3 stroker engine ect.

Failing that, its only a 1 hour 25 min trip form S.wales to Norris Designs.

For years they've been one of the top Group N Evo rally car specialists. They didn't do the mapping themselves, Steve Simpson used to come to them to do it - he was the GEMS ECU specialist.

Seriously mate..i know its tempting to take the easy option and stay as local as possible..but it really is worth travelling if needs be for a map. Its extremly important.
