Have been the last 3 years, not sure about 2008 at the moment though. Definitely one of those must do experiences in my opinion
I have always gone with Speedchills and camped at Beausajour.
You can get tickets from
Just Tickets
Speed Chills
ACO
Clubmotorsport
Club Arnage
Most sought after campsites are possibly sold out by now, depends what sort of comfort factor you are going to need.
And Club Arnage produce an excellent guide each year to all camp sites/ activities/supermarkets etc etc.
Beer Mountain have full details of the various campsites

We've been going last 7 years with a group of like minded drivers. Normally go down to dover on the thursday to all meet up (gang of welsh, northern monkeys and southern fairys) to have a drink and catch up, followed by 8am ferry fri, all day fri making way down! No autoroutes or peages. In last seven years only one speeding fine! In fact the route we use kinda like a Beacons run for six to seven hours, taking half hour for a bite and stops every 125 miles for fuel (Caterhams do have small tanks!)
Cars we took this year:
Porsche 996 GT2
AM Vanquish
AM DB7 Zagato
Jag XKR
2x BMW Z4
TVR Tuscan
Caterham R500 Superlight
Dax Cobra
Porsche 993 RS
Porsche Boxster S
Nissan 350Z
Volvo T5 Estate
Audi A4 TDI
Followed by a hotel in Bagnoles fri nite, short fast stint on the back roads coming into Le Mans from the west(miss the gendarmes), green car parking inside the circuit just below the Dunlop bridge and village, watch racing, pitch tent/sleep in car for a few hours, pack tent, watch end of race, back to Bagnoles, meal and drinking games sunday night, leave monday to catch 4pm ferry, back into cardiff bout 10pm monday night. Did go with Speedchills one year, camping too far from the action and not much for your money. Costs this year worked out at £330 per car/2persons. That included 3 nights hotels, general admission tickets for 2 people, green parking for one car, return ferry crossing. Excludes fuel and food/drink.

Where do you book? Any more info Grumps?
Lots of companies offering packages although on circuit camping will be at a premium this year as I understand Houx Annex is being developed and is no longer available for camping. We're going with Team Langoustine, they have there own area, about 100 or so pitches on Tetra Rouge.
The ferry we booked separately, Dover-Boulogne 10.45 11.06.08 returning on the 16th at 17.10.
I've not been with these before but have twice used "Travel Destinations" had a good deal with them in the past.
If you are thinking about going don't leave it to long as this event tends to sellout early.
ello Dave thought I would just say Hi

Hi Matt, exactly how will it take to fly from Newport to Truro any ideas?
I hope his flying is better than his driving! I also hope he doesn't read this as we may be in for a bumpy ride. (Should be fun though).
