Finally got my geo done....
Discussion
Well after having my Tamora for a few years and thinking that it did not handle as it should I did some digging, some great help was found on PH in the form of recommendations, so thanks all.
Called Motec who are quite close to me last week and asked quite a few questions being a little on the cautious side as the last people to set it up kind of killed how it handled, something I got used to not wanting anyone to make it worse.
Went there mid week, had booked in for 12:30 got there early parked up and looked around, it was off to a rocky start down to not having the Tamora's geo settings and as it was lunch time most people they called had gone to lunch, but they did not give up and kept calling, a short while later they got hold of someone and got the settings for it, and after some settings were added to the computer and were good to go
Next up was to pass the keys over, for those that know me that was a very difficult thing to do, but needed to be done and I watched someone else drive my car on the onto the ramp
Few mins later she's up on the ramps and there setting the alignment bits up, initial check shows quite a bit out.
So they start and adjusting bits, checking, pulling bits off adding / moving shims and getting it giving it plenty of attention
Around 3 hours later (quite a bit of that down to waiting for the geo settings in the beginning) it's all done, I'm all paid up and I'm getting anxious to try it after all this work.
The drive back was great, it's a significant change all for the better, the tram lining that once was there has gone, it feels so much more planted now, cornering has changed dramatically. and I can't wait to get it back on the track and see how much it's improved there.
I’m very happy with what was done, and thoroughly recommend them and the guys there were great considering the whole time I was bugging them asking questions.
Will post the before and after settings if anyone’s interested, might put the settings in the TVR forum to.

I had fast road geometry set up on mine going back late last year and the difference is outstanding. The change of direction and turn in became very crisp and pin-point and the car seemed much more sure footed in a straight line.Called Motec who are quite close to me last week and asked quite a few questions being a little on the cautious side as the last people to set it up kind of killed how it handled, something I got used to not wanting anyone to make it worse.

Ha, I can just imagine your face when you handed the keys over!! and as for bugging them with questions. Well, if they can put up with that - we should all go.Called Motec who are quite close to me last week and asked quite a few questions being a little on the cautious side as the last people to set it up kind of killed how it handled, something I got used to not wanting anyone to make it worse.

At the momment booked the Tuscan into Roath Garage to sort out the clutch, also having new brake pads fitted. Looks like I'm sorting the geometry out after that.
See you on the track one day?
