My 205 has just spent the weekend at Roelands Race Rally; see http://www.roelands.co.uk/ having a safety devices challenge spec rollcage fitted. We even succesfully refitted 80% of the stuff we removed to get it in cool

To say im happy is an understatement. I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

And just to blatantly plug him once more, if you need any sort of welding, race rally preparation etc etc then Drew is your man. His new unit is only 10 minutes off of juntion 26 very easy to find.

cage looks like it fits well!
ive driven a few caged cars on the road, but some can annoy as the front tubes gets in the way of the wing mirrors! how do you find it?

It fits pretty well yeah, we had to cut some of the dash and the headlining and some of the trim panels had to be removed but pretty much everything else went back that we removed for access. Because the front legs do go through the dash they dont affect my mirrors.

the X is just extra triangulation, the horizontal bars are for harnesses to wrap around.

I'll send an email out this week about our little road trip wink

Yep i will be doing that eventually when i can be bothered to climb in and sort them out. Nothing wrong with the eye bolts holding them in at the mo anyway. Though i do fancy changing to some more subtle black harnesses soon anyway.
