we ate in the hemmingway pub down cardiff bay, it was pleasant enough but small portions and expensive in my opinion, but maybe im just used to the resteraunts of Adenau

The Nant Ddu is a belting run up and of a week night might be practicable for a party booking but not on a weekend when they're heaving. Top food.

I'm up for the 25th - don't mind where. The Mughal's fine with me - we have a takeaway from there a couple of times a month and it's usually good food. Nant Ddu's a good idea but a bit of a run, ..I'm easy...wherever...I'll be there.

its basically on the a48 near llantwit major (i think), going west towards llandow

I'd hazard a guess of an hour or so from abergavenny area
