What has this country come too? Was waiting at a set of red traffic lights this evening when a Silver M Class Mercedes pulls up alongside. Just waiting for the lights to change and notice that the passenger gets out and starts saying something to me so I wind down my window.

"Your car is shit mate!!"

Fair enough I thought, we are all entitled to our own opinion(Especially when the car is an Alfa Spider Diesel coutesy car he is probably right- looks very pretty though!!). But next thing he throws what I assume is his mobile phone full force at the car. Thankfully it bounced off the windscreen and on to the floor!!! Didn't bother getting out as I was just so shocked so drove off and to the local Police station.

Gave them the details that I had and noticed afterwards that there was a CCTV camera pointing in the direction of the attack that may have picked it up.

Anyway just wanted to rant on somewhere!!!

Vehicle details are Silver Mercedes M Class 320 CDI

Reg is LS07 *** - Hopefully the CCTV can pick up the rest of the plate. I was more concerned with getting from the idiot.

I also hope that the BiB will look into it!!!

Happened at the junction of Lloyd George Avenue and Herbert Street, by the lights at the potato factory. There is a CCTV camera there so hopefully it picked it all up.

I certainly did not cut him up, I hadn't seen the car before that evening which is why I thought the whole incident was a little odd. Also on the basis that the car was delivered to me with only 200 miles on the clock, I doubt it was a previous driver.

The idiot was probably coked up to the eye balls or something!! I'm just glad it wasn't the VX as it probably would have gone through the clam.

I have all the faith that they will do more to catch someone going over the limit on the motorway ( ie. me ) than that scrote that attacked his car.

I have days and yesterday was one when that sort of confrontation would have been just right for me. I would have delivered on the spot justice!

It sounds like it might have been a stolen car and the mobile he threw belonged to the owner of that car.

Not sure if it was stolen as it had 4 people in it, 2 girls 2 blokes. All dressed as if they had gone out for a drink or something.

The odd thing was the girl in the rear of the car had a huge barney with the idiot that had thrown the phone at the car.

I do hope the police do something as I am sure this tool has probably done similar before and will probably do it again!!

AR - to be honest with some of the idiots going around Cardiff it's not worth the risk of doing anything!!

It would not surprise me if it was a ringer. Let's just say he was not your typical M Class driver - he would look more at home in a 50 cent video!!!

Not a nice experience. He didn't seem to have any worries about the phone so probably not his. I always carry a camera with me. Very handy when this sort of thing happens.(Not to throw back, to take pic of idiot!!)

On a more serious note, sorry to hear your story ad220, unfortunately society seems to be getting to an all time low frown

I know mate you are right there. I am sure the same copper that got me for speeding will surely look the other way if I was being attacked, but put me in the back of the BMW if I defended myself. Don't we love society nowadays!

I think that's probably the truth of it, when some one does something really bizarre like that there's usually been a substance involved.
Unlucky mate but you did the thing getting out of there.
