Polished car!

well i put in some hard work this week,

tuesday - washed the car, twice! just to make sure it was rid of dirt.

wednesday - used megurais 3 stage polish all over the car, and mer alloy polish

thursday - applied polish to the entire car again, and the alloys, then spent agggggges buffing it.

First time ive given it a really good go - just need some renovo for my roof now!

so hows this for an effort?





is there anything i can go over this with now, to try and like seal it in for the winter?

I find yellow and white so unrewarding .. when it comes to polish. good job tho !

You need to wax it after polishing to protect it.

Meguires Gold Class is good stuff at the cheaper end of the price range.

Car looks great.....did you polish the wheels? When I had mine renovated I was told never to polish them as it takes the lacquer off and the wheel cleaners you can buy, Reno wheels etc are just as bad. Not sure it thats true or not.

yeah i polished them with Mer alloy polish. surley they wouldnt sell this stuff if it takes the lacer off!
