servicing/mot?

hello all,i got 95.chim.servicing/mot in cardiff,swansea area any recommendations?,be much appriciated.working by a mot garage today some guy tried to get a very low vw golf tested but wouldnt do it cos he said too low to go on ramps for test!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!any one else had probs?

I'd personally suggest Peter @ Roath Garage, there are a few others, worst case you can take your car to the mot testing station in miskin (sure there are others arround, I just happen to see that every day).

I have used BETS in Miskin for my MOT for the past three years(has passed first time, each time its been there).

As you'r in Neath, give Ron a call at Fforest Garage in Pontardulais. He has a good reputation for servicing with the West Wales lot (I'll be using him the next time I need a service although I'm in Miskin). He's also had a Chimaera 500, a RR Cerbera and a Tuscan.

My mate runs a MOT @ service garage in Neath. He looks after my TVR and owns a TVR 400SE wedge himself. I'll pm you in a mo.

P.S. Ron at Fforest Garage is highly recomended mind

Fforest have MOTd my Chim twice, no issues.

I wouldn't go anywhere but a TVR specialist for my car.

does he not? the Tam is in for service on Thursday I will ask then, but if he does not do them himself he must have someone he takes them to.

He doesn't do them himself he uses J.Sherlock & Son, Dalcross St, Roath
At least that's what it says on my MOT.

I always use ACE MOT in Fanny Street - great service, MOTs only so no incentive to find faults and appreciative of a nice car. If anything needs doing, he can usually get it done cheap too.

Seconded - I used to go there when I had my Focus - customer service was excellent.

hello,all.took car down to Ron at FFOREST garage,in end. In sunny Pontardulias for mot and service,top bloke,CAR NOW ALL SORTED,good level of service,be using him all time,now.anyone on here from west wales group,just want to say hello,would,nt mind attending meets,etc.many thanks to all.Smithy.
