Crying Chugger
Discussion
Just picked up car after having engine mounts replaced (faulty old ones) only to notice someone has dinked the back of the Chim, 2 inch crack over the left exhaust pipe and rear exhaust brackets knackered. Pete from Roath put me straight onto Autospray who have said they will sort it for 300 quid (they're also going to touch up some little issues at the front), and i'm going to call Charlie from prospeed to sort the exhausts. Very diaspointing as i'm off to Gang on the Green this weekend....
woe is me..
woe is me..
Thanks for the comments all, its good to hear from those who understand. Most people have given me the standard "its only a car"
Not really sure about the parking around Peter's it can be pretty tight although not had any other prblems, just one of those things i guess.
Been down to see Charlie about the exhaust today, what a top bloke.Managed to sort out the current issues (knakered flex) and numerous missing nuts bolts and has me booked in to have a full new system installed at the end of the month . Must say he commented on the some shoddyness of previous work that had been done when i went to straight through. A load of brackets missing with the exhausts sitting on pretty much bugger all (Matt, if you're out there beware!).
So i guess it turned out to be a good thing as it sounds as if the exhaust could have gone t!ts up at any point even if my wallett is going to be hurting for a few weeks! I'll let you know how i get on..

Mine's booked in to Charlie for a full system next Wednesday. He does fill you with confidence in him but I'll let you know if he d'man next week. Could be a blessing that you found out your zorst was iffy Pete.
Chin up, hand in pocket, get pipes and paint, move on and happy motoring.

I used to live in that area (Donald street) and parking is a complete nightmare. I had one corner scuff when I started living there, by the time I moved on I had 4 scuffed corners and a broken numberplate thanks to the locals and students.
