It was a goon afternoon, despite the rain. TVR ran a dream as ever, I was surprised how well it behaved in the wet. The wet track was good, really testing your driving skill (or lack of in my case, spinning at Devils Elbow) have to be very smooth with breaks and the loud pedal!!
It was Liam in the VX, he had a problems with it all afternoon not holding boost (these little European engines are so unreliable).
The Jetta was nuts, some very un-sympathetic driving. The green Golf was quick, it had a 280BHP Audi TT engine in it, some good work had gone into that car

Popped down to have a nose and it seemed like some good fun. The circuit was almost dead by the time we got there. Particularly loved the Jetta on 2 wheels coming into the Chicane!!! I'm sure he was trying to break it. Would have popped over and had a chat with Liam in the VX if I had mine - unfortunately I have a Boxster courtesy car while mine is getting repaired.
(I should have bought track time as it wasn't my brakes or tyres!!!!)

Good to see you there boys sorry i didnt get a chance to say hello,i was thoroughly soaked after arriving at 8:30 and by the time the clutch started to slip around 4:00 i had enough and packed the car back onto the trailer.Still a good day and even the lurid slide on the pas fluid dumped by the BMW didnt put me off managing to get the tyres to steam after each session as the track gave up a suprising amount of grip. The first session of the day and the first one after lunch were really interesting with lots of standing water.I hope to see you again sometime soon.
