Well some work has been done on my maserati so thought i would post some pics of it. I wanted aftermarket wheels but they were silly money and saw it as a waste. Any way I have meshed the front grille

Before

Now

Wheels and calipers before

Now the sparkle/metallic look is only seen in the sunlight and under my camera's flash!)

and a sound clip of the new exhaust for fun! this is just new back boxes but having the rest re done to make less restrictive and louder a week monday

thanks gus, hopefully i wont get trouble from the cops!

2DOGS, i dont like black wheels, these are just a very dark grey lol! I actually was going to do the a grey chrome (sounds awful but is just like dark poilshed) but it looked awful so i let my mate in the bodyshop choose the brake and wheel colours, its darker than i would have gone but do like it so am happy.

Nice.

I can see why you wanted to change the look of your rims.
They used to look like car boot wheel trims. The dark grey with flake improves them a million times over.

Love the wheel finish - where did you get them done? Do they look just as good close up?I'm assuming they are painted not powder-coated?

I like both the wheels and grille mods Ben, but in my opinion, i don't think they work together. Black wheels, black grille. Silver wheels, silver grille - which i know you would've done had you bought the aftermarket wheels.

that dash is amazing mate, so futuristic lol! The wheels are painted and look better in the flesh, custom rides did them.

Just spoke to Austin at Custom Wheels, he sounds a really enthusiastic guy.

I'm undecided whether I should get new CSL wheels and tyres and sell the old ones, or get my existing ones refurbed. I'll pop in and have a chat with him at some point.

I think the wheels need to be more like the GS colour, and the grille black.

But it still looks goods.

Cheers,

Ary

Looks fantastic. Is that mesh the stuff from that company Long..something. I was looking at it the other day wondering if I could adapt it for the Mustang. How did you attach it at the back or is it custom- fit?

The wheels look great on the silver and I'd be tempted to put something similar on the Mustang if I didn't have so much in the existing wheels (well, thew two I've still got anyway...).

Just seen yet another Maserati in Cardiff, this time a gunmetal one on North Road. Ubiquitous or what? (posh word for common...he he). So to recap, that's two silver, one yellow, two blue and one gunmetal. You can hold an owner's club meeting quite easily.

ticked that box then biggrin

was going to sell mine but you got me thinking about keeping with it and doing some more mods scratchchin

where did you get the grille?

am thinking of paying LeoNardo a visit in germany for a set of wheels and a remap, seems they have some nice 'non bling' wheels...

Are they HRE wheels do you know?

these look quite nice, love dark centre with polished rim look but not sure if it goes with a Med blue car

LeoNardo ones I know will suit though.....
