Yeah fair enough. I had the 320d and its a good car....I just dont like 4 cyl. diesels....and it rarely managed more than 38 mpg avg so just wasn't good enough imo....having said that, I don't really do enough miles to warrant a diesel to be honest, but it was Company Car Tax effective. Pleased to say that this new 320i is just as cheap as diseasel... thumbup

ooh, coral redcloud9 I've been looking at the E92 coupe, but can't decide between a Z4M and a 335i

Hmmm, well if you dont need the rear seats get the Z (Coupe I hope...??), if you do, get the 335!

Sorted!

Well, we use the rear seats only when we all go out in the car but that no often so i'm leaning towards the Z4MC, but there are better RV's on the 335 so it's head against heart really rather than 2 or 4 seats!

Really? I'm surprised about the 335...would have thought that would get hit harder with depreciation being a big petrol engine and also being, comparatively, common .....

The Z4 is subject to huge deprecation in the 1st 6 months, think 46k new, 33 after 3-6months, that's roughly 2k/month! Great for used buying though but a nightmare for the 1st owners! 335 se's are not a million miles away, loads about, but now the Sport is out they're starting to drop, but they're offering better RV's over 2 years so cheaper to own in the long run. The 320d should be the one that I should go for given my mileage and the fact i suffer from a serious case of motorsport addiction, but my heart is steering towards Z4M's at an alarming rate!

320d is very capable/efficient/boring!!!!

Do those figures apply to the Z4 coupe?? I can understand the soft top as they are pretty common.....

Anyway....its only money!!! Buy the Z4M!!!

yes they do, there are alot of Dec 06 and Mar 07 cars around that BMW Management have chucked into the pool, upset alot of people by doing so, one lad in the BMW Forum apparently got 24% discount when he bought a new one! Crap buy new but at 30-34k they're an ok deal.

I am going for the Z4M, sooo excited!!

Depends on the finance company, hopefully end of next week, also depends on when my car is ready, having some cosmetic paintwork on monday, needs 4 new tyres (hence my interest in Llandow, tyres will just about last a few hard laps!laugh) and all the wheels refurbed and then a detail to make sure it's A1 as well, so might be tight for the weekend.

Can't wait, it's like the M3 but oh so much better, CSL steering and CSL brakes in a lighter and stiffer chassis, just need a set of CSL wheels and a Tubi exhaust and it'll be close to perfect for me
