Reading the Goodwood forum I'm not sure that we're leaving early enough.
How long is it likely to take us.

150 miles from Magor but 130 of that is motorway (or you cut across salisbury plain). Not sure on planned route but should be stuck in traffic by about 9ish! Took me about 45 mins to get in last time at around 10ish I think.

130 miles cross country but would probably leave this to coming home if we are tight on time

Well done gang - a good day out. Thanks for putting up with the Dugster, I'm sure he bent a few ears throughout the day. Shame about the weather but hey I got my fuel cap back - lifes good.smile

Had a really good day out, even if we did experience a few drops of rain.
Looked like i'd been jumping in mud puddles all day by the time we got back to the car.

We had a major celebrity spotted as well: apparently Kirstie Allsopp walked past us, although I was too busy looking at the cars to notice!

J: Sorry for accidentally prodding you with the brollie (four times). paperbag I'll be attending a basic umbrella handling course soon in an attempt to improve my brollie-hand-eye coordination skills.

The weather was mildly moist to say the least. Had pretty good day out though. Had to laugh when Matt txt to say you were leaving, I was still tucked up in bed.

Mei, you're not the only one who needs to go on the umbrella handling course. I was pulling moves straight out of the Matrix to avoid umbrellas all day.

Just Kirsty Allsopp?!! I think I did pretty well, managed to spot Colin McCrae, Tom Ford (5th Gear), Steve Ryder, Ralf Schumacher, Martin Offiah and best of all Jay Kay...!

Sorry mate it just wasn't a piccy day. It wissed down all day which kinda dampened our piccy taking abilities, but then I'm not camera minded at best.
