South Wales to Le-Mans
Discussion
Hi all,
Just wondered who going from this forum? I think "Firefoot" is going, but wondered if anyone one else is going and what are you taking down?
Can`t wait!.....counting down the days now!
Maybe it would be possible to know where your camping with a view to meeting for a beer or meeting at Indi/Arnage on Fri morning?

Going down to Lemans with Firefoot and MrV on Weds morning ferry.
Will no doubt see you at the PH meet on friday at Arnage Corner 10am. Probably camping not to far from the Speedchills watering hole with some luck. Piston head flag will be flying high and proud.

Off on thurs, 8am ferry fri dover dunkirk, all day fri making way down! No autoroutes or peages. In last seven years only one speeding fine! In fact the route we use kinda like a Beacons run for six to seven hours, taking half hour for a bite and stops every 125 miles for fuel (Caterhams do have small tanks!)

Not long to go now people, may your beer be cold and your sunstroke shortlived
Looking forward to seeing some of you there, will come looking for the Viper Tom to say hello Hope you don't have any of last years troubles. You will probably spot us no problem. The SX will be "slightly" stickered up!
(if the weather reports are anything to go by, dont forget your waterproofs)

The convoys down are one of my favourite bits of the annual pilgrimage. Not much of a convoy for us this year as we are going on the Weds, but will no doubt meet up with some exotica when we get close to Le Mans.
The drive back on the Monday will be great, supercars as far as the eye can see. Hope this year the petrol stations are open so those supercars are not strewn all along the hard shoulder with no fuel again
