Another Chim in South Wales!
Discussion
Well I finally managed to take a few pics.
Brought the Chim home from Bath on the 9th of May in the pouring rain and with dodgy wipers!
Turns out it's got a bit of a history: The car was originally owned by the daughter of a wealthy business man who ran a well known kitchen company. She was murdered by a former boyfriend in 2005, the details of which were covered by the national newspapers at the time.
The car was then resprayed in Obsidian black after failing to sell in its original colour *
There was only 9,800 miles on the clock when I picked it up!
A few things need sorting out but I've got a copy of the TVR bible so will hopefully be prepared.
Already spent a full day treating the leather - it looks a different colour now it's clean.
What a fantastic car - Wish I'd taken up tiv ownership earlier!
* yep it was bright pink!

pics don't do it justice, it looked lovely on the run, what did you get done to the exhausts, straight through? would seem that a TVR tunnel run would be in order
Keep having fun while I am carless. I wonder what the Lawnmower will sound like in a tunnel!!!
Lovely looking car Mei.
Cheers,
AR
David: yep straight through pipes are on. A tunnel run would be a good idea wouldn't it.
Freewheeler: the Boxster has gone, although the new owner is only in Cardiff and even expressed an interest in a future PH run!
AR: you're also more than welcome to join me in the tiv at the next tunnel run. We could look at getting the lawnmower in the boot!
Sorrento: tell you what, bring the 205 over when your free next and we'll give it another clean as well - must be about time now?
Cheers again guys

Wyn: Taking it very gentle coming out of the roundabouts in the wet at the moment as I know what you mean!
Westy: Yep heard of Peter. Actually have the car booked in with Ron at Fforest TVR for a waxoiling this week.
Ian: she's (or is that he's?) a 4.0 but that's enough power for me for now! Your 500 looks stunning in Camel Yellow btw. The second 400 on my list to see was in that colour.
Cheers Mr Mojo. I still keep a look out for the Rangie/MX5 when I occasionally pass through Caerleon.
Hi Nick - Glad you made it over to the SW PH section. The chim is a bit of a different proposition, but after seeing this one I couldn't resist. Have to find a daily hack to run around in now though.
Was out with F1FX over the weekend in and around Cardiff. Can't believe we didn't have a spotted - Two Chims thundering through the streets!
