G'day

Went out for a "spirited" drive yesterday (which is seemingly harder to do due to traffic and slooooow movers) anyway, went round a roundabout and planted the throttle in 2nd close to the exit. The car accelerated momentarilly then lost power, jerked a bit, lost power again then started pulling again.

Pulled over, no leaks etc. Is this just to the fuel moving whilst going round a tight circle of which it's never happened before>? Or just a general fuel flow problem? It drove smooth on the way home but i was being rather gentle.

P.s. It has been drinking more fuel as of late if that helps?

Cheers

Was the fuel low in the tank? could be surging.
Heavy fuel consumption is likely to be the AFM needs adjusting.

The car wasnt overly low on fuel i.e light wasnt flickering. Guess it was just a surge - was ok on the way home. It was alarming at the time having all the power just die. Maybe a new fuel filter etc?
