castle combe on saturday
Discussion
well i spent the best part of 4 hours thisafternoon cleaning OOJ inside and out, even the glass and bumpers look a bit better. Now i know this is nothing for a lot of proud car owners, but for me this is a big deal (I know it got cleaned for the last run, but Matt, Mei and Chris did most of the work!). I last officially cleaned my car March 26th 2005, so tomorrow i want appreciative comments from everyone ok!!!

We saw your car!
Didn't you see the little message that was left for you on the windscreen (written in the dust)?
We tried to stop Debb's but she was like a woman on a mission...
Matt being told that Tony would kill him if anything happened to the car...
The reaction to that stern warning...
And finally coming in...
Unfortunately zoom wasn't really up to the job of getting any track action. The exhaust flames were particularly impressive though!

anyone fancy a full day at combe this year? £165
I didnt spot your car while i was there but there were a lot of 205's out there wipeing the floor with most cars, i have a new respect for the 205 it has to be said.
As for a full day, im too scared to take my car on but have already been in the free adds looking for a cheap 205 so i could be up for it??!!
All things considerd the SX survived matts "taking it easy" session. Need to fit an oil cooler as the gauge went to 305'c towards the end few laps. One cat gasket part blown but it was on its way out anyway, and matt has offered to refit a new one on saturday so I'll postpone his execution this time. As for position matt managed to overtake everybody except the kit cars on his session untill the oil boiled. Can't wait to see the sx on the track when shes fixed and running at full potential.
