I have decided to go just for the day. so i have booked my ticket for Sunday 24th June 07. If you would like to join me, we will convoy it down there.
Maybe we can arrange a weekend stay next year !

I did go last year and i was walking behind Jackie Stuart .. did not even know who he was. Well i know who he is. but its such a surreal place, you just dont really notice, he was just a guy walking 2 paces in front of us ! he was walking to paddock area alone “should have rumbled him and nicked his wallet “ . and as he walked through the paddock area .. the sea of people just opened up as he walked !

Right, I just went to buy my ticket for FOS but not having been before I don't know if you just buy a ticket for the day and stand anywhere or if the ticket is stand specific. A little help please..

All you need is the admission only ticket...

all the way up the hillclimb there are different seating areas, you can purchase access to these if you wish but in my opinion theres no point unless your spending the whole weekend there, you'll probably spend most of your time walking around the fields looking at the stands and watching the action on big screen etc. There is almost too much to see in one day, you wouldnt want to miss out by sitting down and watching the hillclimb all day (atleast i wouldnt)
