This Sunday (25th Feb) Childrens Hospital visit?
Discussion
Ok, 1 or 2 of you on here know i run southwalescruise with another person, well last year we took some skylines etc up to Ty Hafan Childrens Hospital for the kids, was smiles all round and we even store our trophys there in the display case, anyway...we have been asked if we could do the same this sunday, obviously we have agreed and we have started getting some free shirts and other merchandise to give to the children.
I spoke to Ben, and he said why not ask PH aswell, so here is my post if anyone is interested, basicaly it will be 6pm ish at Ty Hafan around the Sully area, we take a few nice and serious cars, no boy racer corsas or novas etc and let the kids have a sit in them and what not, seeing as i may have another club joining us from West Wales, im thinking of maybe doing a little photoshoot down ogmore beach before going to Ty Hafan, and then more photos when we get to the Hospital, i will update this with more info once i have it from the people who run Ty Hafan, but if anyone is up for it then happy days.

Hi mate, we will be doing this again, the kids loved it tonight and the parents and staff just kept coming up to us saying thank you, was really heart warming!
At the end of the night we gave the kids an XBOX 360 game that we had a collection for, obviously car realted
They loved the NSX, huge thanks for coming mate, and i think marcs in love with you for the ride in it lol, will post up photos from this as soon as i've finished them.

Yea i apolagise for the short notice as we were only asked a short while before the date, we'll be doing about 4 more so will keep everyone updated.
It's also sparked a few other clubs doing charity events in areas such as Swansea, Camarthen and Bristol which we will be helping out with.
I'll sort some girls to walk around with donation buckets at the next one.

hi all, been on here a few times reading but thought i'd best sign up now as craig has kind of introduced me in this thread lol!
I'm the other person behind south wales cruise. Just wanted to say thanks to the guy with the nsx for turning up last night at the ty hafan event. The look on the faces of the kids when they saw it was amazing (not to mention the grown ups and club members!!). It is a really nice feeling to give something to these children that we all take for granted so often.
Seeing the smiles on the faces of the children is a memory that i'll keep for a very long time. The majority of these kids are seriously ill and the parents and staff at the hospice can not be more grateful for us giving up our own time, to give them all an hour of joy.
Hope that a few more of you can join us next time we go down, we're also planning a few other things to involve the children too and hopefully some of you will also wish to be a part of those too. More details will be posted in due course.
Many thanks
Chris
