I remember my first track day it was at Llandow as it happens! I was so damn nervous, didn't really know what to expect etc etc. I know there's many who'd love to do a track day but like me feel aprehensive and nervous - I spoke to a few today.
All I can say is, take the plunge and do it. Everyone participating knows how you feel and are always very helpful. The rules are strict - like no overtaking on bends etc etc, All the rules will give you confidence and make for a safe day.
It's great fun - so lets see if we can get a good turnout.

The pace is down to you AR, it's just you and your car.
There will always be those faster and slower but at the end of the day it's just for fun. The last thing anyone wants to see is damaged caes so there's strict rules like no overtaking on the bends etc etc. You simply drive within your comfort zone.
Llandow is a great track for both the experienced and novice and you'll find everyone is so helpful. This particular track day is ideal for the first timer as it wont be crowded and you'll get plenty of clear track time to learn the ability of you and your car.

Not at Llandow they arent. A lot of the people I have seen on track there would last half a lap at most other circuits before being black flagged.
I'm not saying its dangerous or badly run but you have to do a hell of a lot to be black flagged. Drifting and spinning at most trackdays will result in a serious b0ll0cking but the marshalls at Llandow seem to enjoy it.
It just depends who you find yourself out on track with. The only problem I have had are with slower drivers who dont lift off on the straight to allow you to pass (which even with a faster car can cause problems on such a short straight).
Good track though and if I wasnt going to be spending so much cash in Paris for the rugby this weekend I would go on the trackday.
