All,

Not sure whether any of you travel back to Barry that way but there are traffic closing the road down to single lanes. Unfortunately someone got confused and didn't realise the cones had not finished, big chunks of plastic everywhere, i only just avoided the mess (and nearly went the same way!).

Be careful out there

Pete

That is bloody dangerous!!

I was travelling from Barry to the A48 the other day. Doing 40 round a left hander and instantly confronted with a few cars stopped at the lights - good job I have good brakes!!!

There were no warnings before the corner of the lights ahead. I hope they've changed that by now.

Can someone please enlighten me as to exactly what goes on in that lay-by by the Hawking Center. I've driven this road for more years than I care to remember and it doesn't matter what time of day or night you go by, there are always cars tucked down in that lay-by.

If the M4 Link to Cardiff Airport goes ahead 5-mile lane will be replaced with a d/c
Link will be from J34 through Pendoylan and on to the BP garage at the top on Pontypridd Road.

There was an accident there on Friday afternoon.
Seems like 5 mile lane has a smash every fortnight.
