One of their braver employees is coming to look at the bonnet tomorrow 
Well the guy came out and the verdict is that it needs a respray (which is not a suprise, but I thought it was worth them having a look first).
There are just too many chips to make it financially viable to repair, plus he said that you would be able to see the repair more as it is a black car.
At least he was honest about it and very helpful.
So we'll wait until we get back from LeMans in June and get the vinyls off, and a respray will be in order. Not too keen on putting the vinyls on fresh paint so I'll just put up with the bonnet for now.
