I get in to work this morning, still half asleep and angry at the truck driver and the idiot police man blocking the road, telling drivers to go 2 miles up the road to come back ,K*nob!
so i forgot to turn my lights off ..DOH ... reception tells me " you have forgotten to turn your lights off again " off i go to turn them off "again" , dam it's flat .. Nothing ..
but i remember that reception has a jumper pack. but i also remember it has leven start system/ jump leads in the boot, the boot is electronic, i cant open it. lol.
so with two screw drivers. i jammed in the starter plug, to get some power to open the boot, to get the jump leads "very Mr bean" .. phew !!!
all ok now ..
WHAT A PLONKER !
Any one know who can fit a "beeper" to a TVR light system ?

Pls feel free to laugh at me !

Oh it does not end here... at lunch i just touched the curb and scratched. the underside of the front . not happy with me doing this . i poped up to "NEW INN PAINT SUPPLIES" when looking for the paint code . we had a look in the boot .. where i put my keys, when moving the spare wheel looking for the paint code. nope not there . closed the boot. with the keys in. and to open the boot you have to have the key in the ignition... bugger..
i should have left it at home today.

Get a buzzer or beeper and connet one side to the switched side of your side light switch.

Find the wire that goes down to you courtesy light switch in the drivers door.
Splice the other side of the wire to the unswitched side so that when the door opens the courtesy light switch provides an earth to the buzzer, which is fed if the lights are on.

BUT

Not sure how the courtseey lights work on a TVR being Fiber glass, I assume it would have 2 wires to it.

I did the same to one of my cars years ago. Cost a quid ot 2 and never leftthe lights on again

Have fun!

I won't laugh at you, but only because with my self locking and self alarming Clifford system, it's only a matter of time before I get locked out of my own car
