Terrible crash on the bypass between Crumlin and Abertillery last night. A Renault Clio went passenger side first into a Landrover Defender. The driver and two passengers were killed and a heavily pregnant woman was thrown out of the car. I hope she and the baby are OK.
Anyone know what caused it?

So thats why the road was closed

I came down from Crospenmaen to go right and there were a few police cars around as well as the one that nearly hit me....

That road is quite open and fast, maybe the wind had something to do with it?

I have a feeling that that road will now become a 40mph limit, if not a 30. I've lost count of the number of bad accidents that road has had, most of them, like this one, caused by rogue sheep or horses.
