Looks like i am going down for the SS on saturday

Not sure what happens on the sunday Ben, if you find the finishing times at the stadium just pop down, we did last year and it was free to get in. We may go and watch a forest stage then go off to see them come through the stadium after.

Ben - it is there on the www.walesrallygb.com website - click on the 'Spectators' tab then on 'Maps and Documents'. There's a fairly detailed timetable of all the stages including ETA of first car for each.
Here's the listing of all the PDFs

First car's due at the ceremonial finish in Cardiff at 15:41, but you can usually get a good view of all the cars coming and going at the service park by J46 at Swansea.

what a stupid night. had to queue for an hour to buy tickets on the door, and as there were so many people in the queue the whole event got put back half hour. Then we had to run halfway around the stadium to get to the right gate. good viewing from our seats, on a good corner too, but those bloody airhorns were drowning out any aural pleasure from the wrc cars. I only managed a couple pics and one video before the batteries died in my camera furious

Then the MPH show with Tiff, Vicki BH and Jason potato. Was a bit of a dissapointment as the presenters could barely be heard, the show was much of nothing special (autosport was 10 times better) and by then the cramped seats had started causing pains in my legs, butt and back so we persevered, watched about 6 of the group a cars and then sodded off home.

I'll try and get my pics up soon, i know craigs got some superb ones so i'll get him to post a few too (only once he's done the brecon ones first tho eh!)

I was pretty peed off with it too Ben. Previous years there's been a Park and Ride for the SSS's and it's been no trouble. The advice this time was simply to use the city centre car parks, which of course soon filled up. By the time we got parked and got in it was 5.45 and we still missed some of it despite them delaying it for half an hour.

Then couldn't hear a single word of commentary for either the SSS or MPH.

Think I'll stick to the forests next year. Early start today ...

Yep....could have been a lot, lot better....

Having had a rushed meal we parked at the end of Cathedral road and walked from there. Got in at 5pm to be told of 30 mins delay banghead

Horns were just as bad last year to be honest.

We were sat in family area and that wasn't as good as last year as the stupid flags obscured view of the screens.....the PA system for the "show" bit was just laughable, especially when any "public announcements" were perfectly audible...

But the kids enjoyed it, swmbo thought it was OK, and its only once a year, so overall OK, given that we were there on the "family deal".

could not believe the queue's, complete chaos got stuck in them for about an hour - once inside it got alittle better but unability to work out anything from tanoy system being used for announcements. If I go next year I will pickup tickets as early as possible - generally think that I would to see a forest stage rather than go though that again.
