Well after nearly 2 years of building then copping out due to new nipper and getting RAW to finish it off.. my striker was delivered this morning after passing SVA.

10 minutes in the DVLA in Cardiff, came out with a new registration, and a tax disk, an hour and a half later I left Halfrauds with a pair of plates.

Just been out hooning around Cwmcarn, Risca and Rogerstone.. it sounds absolutely fantastic, am so bloody chuffed.. haven't stopped grinning yet

Some quick pics here I took when it arrived (bit slow its hanging off my dsl ).. http://striker.mattbull.co.uk

If anyone sees me about give me a toot!

Hiya Wonky,

Must be said you don't see many sevens round these parts, lots fo corsa's and astra's neoned up to the max though :P

If the weather is any good in the coming weeks I'm well up for a mini-hoon if you fancy it.. ?

I've now got to explain to the wife that even though she's spent muchos wonga on a new haircut the skid-lid is necessary, problem is going to be fitting the kids in.. hmmm

Sounds like a plan dude, check yer email

I'm *cough* working from home on Monday so should be able to escape while there's still a little light left. You can show me the more interesting local twisties.

So far I've mainly been giving relatives heart-attack inducing roundabout experiences (particularly my mum who never *really* understood the concepts of centre of gravity et al. and now thinks that a decent life insurance policy would be a decent christmas present ;o) )

I'm a bit worried about the amount of moola I'm going to be donating to hmrc at this rate though.. I had to fill up earlier due to zero balance a la tanke, only to find £17 seems to have lasted me about 40 miles :P

w00t w00t indeed!

:frown: ...oh dear....glad to see you saw it as an "opportunity" rather than a "problem!..

.....anyway, I'm sure 150 is more than enough with you at the wheel....

250bhp!

wonky, you must have balls of steel.. I feel mildy uncomfortable with 140bhp under the right foot, always afearing a slight slip might put me head first into another car/tree/vicar.

It's typical that as the weekend now approaches the weather turns to cackola. I think I may have to visit the local fishing/shooting/diving emporium to invest in some full body wet weather gear. Macintosh or wetsuit?

250 bhp is quite tame wobble its the 470kg car the engines in that causes the traction problems hehe

chasing superbikes is quite good fun, when you sit behind them at 100mph with their wrist wound right round, and they look back to see me byebye driving hehe
