Some edjit managed to park his Freelander into the back of the wife's car on the weekend.

I've been on the phone to the insurers and they have their prefered crash repair centres :-

1st Choice Accident on Ipswitch Road
Gimber Motors on Station Approach Penarth
Nationwide Rownton Place

Anyone got any experience of any of the above?

Cheers

I'm sure Wwesty will be along shortly with a particularly vague and useless reply

Gimber motors did the rear end of my old civic. The paint match was very good (funny turquoise colour), collected and returned the car very efficiently. Can't complain, but it was only my daily hack. Compared with other body shops that i've had the misfortune of being sent to, they were excellent.

All I was going to say is that I thought the rule was that you can choose to take it wherever you want....?? However, if you are just taking the easiest option and going with their recommendation then I don't know anything about any of them........would have thought that you knew all the bodyshops in South Wales by now Steff...???

All I wanted to know was have people used them? and did they do a good job?

If so I'll use them but if they were useless and couldnt care less then I'd rather take it somewhere else.

Of course its easier to use the recommended repairers hense the questions!
