Black 205 GTI owner, severn bridge friday night
Discussion
as an ex owner & long time lover of these cars, i commented on how nice yours was as you flew past me at about 100mph on the severn bridge in the wet on friday evening.
I then remarked with surprise that you took the chepstow exit, furthermore I was less surprised to see you facing backwards on the re-entry sliproad with your car smashed to bits.
You must be gutted, but to be honest I was amazed you were alive, take it easy fella, those little cars are very grippy...........to a point.

I am a huge lover of these cars (ex owner myself) and ever since the day in heavy rain when I was doing about 30mph up a dual carriage way and the wind blowing my car's front end to the right. Scarey as hell!!!!
There's not alot of them, so you don't want to go crashing big style; the metal's not that thick!

I hope that means your be taking it slow in the convoy down to the show if its wet? The Venom has a great trick of aquaplaning on it,s 335,s if it hits standing water......That,s when my pants end up matching the body work.(but with brown stripes!)
no way, i was thinking about 50-60 mph then i'll drive past everyone so mason get can get some photos in motion like we did on the last brecon run i managed to go to (gallery - www.wpce.org/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=20 )
I dont tend to get a problem with aquaplaning so much, but the 205 gets thrown all over the road with the slightest bit of wind, any rain just makes things twice as bad, i run eagle f1's up front and the cheapo avons at the back (they still havent worn out even with all the roundabout fun i get)
