Err Yes.
There are 2 within spitting distance. The Westgate and the Crest. Both are ok but nothing special.
Cardiff city centre is quite small so any hotel is only a 10 - 15 min walk away at most. They range from B&B's from £25 to 5* Hiltons. You also have loads in the Bay. Thats only 5-10 mins in a taxi.
Just stick it in Google and you will get loads of details.

Caerleon is off the M4 about 20 minutes from Cardiff. You come down the M4 onto the A48M and down North Road into Cardiff. As you apprioach Cardiff, there is the Civic Centre on the right and there is usually parking available there. It's normally got a voucher display system which costs less the further away from town you park but it's not far anyway. These vouchers are available from local shops but I don't know if you need them after 6pm as I never use it. there are severakl car parks - Greyfriars Road, Dumfries Place just off Churchill Way (Which is a big place for parking and spaces there are like hen's teeth) and there are plenty of side streets within a 10 minute walk where you'll find somewhere to park although some areas are Residents only. If you get into town around 7pm, you can even park slap bang in the middle by driving down the road opposite the Castle at the top of Queen Street and parking in front of St David's Hall for nothing.

The Vale is around Barry. Not that far but don't know it. Access is fairly straightforward. The Copthorne is in Culverhouse Cross just north of Ely and situated just off the Ely link road on the northern outskirts of Cardiff. About 5-6 miles. You can drive straight onto the link road and come off and drive straight into Cardiff. Just avoid Ely.
Yes. You have two choices then - head west towards Cardiff and come off and drive straight into Cardiff (don't go as far as Cardiff Bay or you'll be coming back on yourself) or head east and join the M4 and come down that way (longer but you can't get lost). It's also really easy to find as it's in an area surrounded by M&S, B&Q, McDonalds etc
Can't vouch for their quality at all, but there are loads of guest houses/B&B's along Cathedral Road....depending which end, that will be a 10 -20 minute walk to the stadium...
Otherwise its difficult without knowing where exactly you have tried!!
City centre has all those previously mentioned plus Ibis (Churchill Way), Park Hotel (Queen Street), Travelodge (St Mary Street) etc etc...... Anywhere in City/Bay area will be accessible to stadium....Copthorne is a pretty good bet as its a quick link into city from there, though dependent on traffic of course...
On the east side of the city there are quite a few Travelodge/Travel Inn type places..
Parking in the centre on a night like that is probably to be avoided if possible...
