Accident on M4 JCT 33 - 36
Discussion
I was stuck in a major jam on the M4 this afternoon (3:00pm) for around an hour.
Took that long to get from JCT 32 to JCT 33 - where all west-bound traffic was being diverted off the M4.
M4 was (and currently still is) closed west-bound between JCT 33 and 35, and east-bound from JCT 36 and 34.!!
Apparently it was closed from 11:00am this morning - just wasn't listening to the radio - just listening to the burble in my Chim - serves me right......
Anyone know what happened.?? Sounds very serious bearing in mind the length of time the closure has currently been in force.
Hope no one here was involved (In the accident and the subsequent hold-up).

I've just spotted this on the BBC website:
One dies, six hurt in M4 accident
One person died and seven were injured after a crash closed both sides of the M4 in south Wales.
The accident involved one vehicle on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 34 and 35, Miskin to Pencoed.
Police said two of the casualties were seriously injured in the crash shortly after 1030 BST on Sunday.
Three injured people were taken to the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Llantrisant, and four to the Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend.
Nightmare.!!!

Hello everyone btw, just registered.
I went past this 10mins after it happened eastbound. Never seen so many emergency vehicles, on both sides of the M4, it was like blinking Casualty.
One silver vehicle on its side. Screens around someone on the other side, obv a fatality.
One poor bloke being attended to with his legs over the central reservation.
About 6/7 ambulances, 4 doctor cars, 2 fire engines and loads of police.
Reading in the Gazette, the silver vehicle had a blowout and the casualty was thrown out the back.
Two others seriously injured after being thrown out - chap on the central reservation must have been one of them.
