Welsh National Motor Show

WPCE are trying to be in attendance with a show stand for this event, hopefully try and get some more publicity for the site. Basically im looking for some people to join us on the stand. Wwesty and Datasafe are maybe's at the moment

so would anyone else like to be there with us? If you dont know what WPCE is, we are a forum dedicated to real performance cars, and now organisers of 5 succesful Llandow trackdays. Fibreglass bumpers and neon lights need not apply!

If you read the thread over at: www.wpce.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=1041&st=0 you can see that those on a show stand will get discounted entrance to what promises to be a really intresting show. Something i think would be criminal not to go too when its in our own back yard!

Hi Sorrento, I got your email.

The Mrs was planning a break at the end of August so I'll have to see but it does sound interesting. If I'm around then I'd probably do it.

What's involved? Is it just leaving the cars parked in a secure area? Do you want them driven anywhere or left open or anything?

as far as i understand it'll be a regular carshow with a stand area. all the cars will be parked together in a recognised area. i would advise them to be locked as i cant guarantee there will be someone friendly to watch all the cars throughout the day. The area will be open to the crowds to walk through and see whats there, take pictures etc possibly ask questions if the owners are around (general show type stuff)

this is a new venture for the wales motor show crew and me as ive never organised a stand before, so a very steep learning curve. of course its also a great chance for PHers to put faces to names

are they? ive always paid about £10 for castle combe and then you have a load more extra miles to drive on to just to get there.

If you go on the show stand the show admittance is just £6

Ignore the prices on the website i'll get you better rates direct from the guy who is doing all the club stand organising.

I will Prob be free to attend with my Elise S1, Depends on work though. I might be able to twist an arm for something a bit more exotic.

Does it fall on the August bank holiday weekend? I am supposed to be away then but am not 100% sure as the Mrs is organising it.

i need moneys by august 6th ideally because im going on a nurburgring trip on the 10th and i need to get it sorted with the show organisers before i go!
