Unless I've missed previous posts TVR have finally put a dealership back in Wales. It appears Evan Williams Jnr in Cardiff have taken on TVR.

Thanks TVR, but a bit late for me.

Similar to what happened when Dick Lovett opened a Ferrari dealership this side of the bridge, can we expect to see every Tom, Dickhead and Harry driving one?

On the plus side it'd be nice to see more TVRs around... just as long as they use ALL the gears.

Ah, so that's why a Sagaris was spotted in their showroom.

It's about time Cardiff had one. Not too sure that sticking them next to Hyundais is the best way to show them off though.

Yup, never denied it, my second one too. Like hairdressers, women love them.

Not until I've forgotten how bad the last one was and how poorly I was treated by the dealer and the factory. Oh, and the depreciation. Oh, and the service bills.

Quote:
Me:"It's broken again"
Dealer:"ah, that's because you're using it too much"

2nd quote:
Me: I ran over a stone and I need a new front wheel.
TVR: Well they're in stock but you'll have to wait about 5 weeks for it"
Me: Why?
TVR: The cardboard boxes we use to ship them are on back order.

It's probably better now that the Russian is in charge but I feel a bit like when I was 10 and landed on the crossbar of my bike: It doesn't hurt anymore but the memory lingers and makes me very cautious.

Ah Newtown Motors. Happy Days They could never understand why I never went back to them for anything after having fleeced me of £400 for a 6,000 mile serve on a seven year old S1. My introduction to TVR ownership was one mother of a learing curve.

Thank god i choose to buy a T350c from Henley Heritage instead of taking a Noble 3R from Newtown Motors then, only pulledout of the deal last minute. good job to with the stories of the dealer.

Actually they didn't tell me the boxes were cardboard they just said "boxes" so I accepted the explanation as I imagined the hand carved mahogany box they would send, would make a nice ornament for the lounge.

The thin brown corrugated carboard box they sent didn't really work as a coffee table.

Nothing wrong with Hyundais, five year unlimited mileage warranty, great value for money...

And THEIR six cylinder engines don't need a £6000 rebuild after only 10,000 miles.......

[scousemode on]Calm down, calm down [scousemode off]..... I was joking.

Don't drag that Speed 6 thing out of the cupboard or you'll have half the T350 forum over here fighting.

Anyway mine did 24k with no problems. They only bang if.... SEE you've got me at it now!!!!!

Hyundai Coupes - it was only the other day I realised how they signed the car off, patted themselves on the back and then asked a 2 year old to design the door mirrors. They're horrid....no, I mean really horrid.
